He is one of the most influential musicians in the history of rock! Van Morrison has been at the top since his beginnings with Them (his ‘Gloria’ became popular with the Doors and Patti Smith), and solo with his more than thirty albums in which he flirts with R & B, jazz, blues, folk with a unique charisma that has influenced musicians such as Springsteen or Elvis Costello. He has accumulated 6 Grammy and one Brit Award, and has been part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 1993. It is the fault of such wonderful albums as ‘Moondance’ or ‘Astral Weeks’, true heritage of humanity.
