Este trabajo es el primero en castellano escrito sobre la mítica banda inglesa Bauhaus y el primero que contiene capítulos dedicados a sus agrupaciones subyacentes: Love & Rockets, Tones on Tail, Sinister Ducks, Dali’s Car y las carreras como solistas de sus cuatro integrantes. Esto lo convierte en un almanaque de vidas cruzadas, encuentros, desencuentros, resurrecciones y sorpresas, basadas en la música y el arte realizados por Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, David J y Kevin Haskins. Se trata de un libro que sobrepasa la centena de páginas, totalmente en B/N, con un formato y diseño muy especial y elegante, que será publicado próximamente por la editorial independiente “Ediciones El Viaje” de Guadalajara, México. Su autora es Carla Sais (Tarántula), reportera especializada en arte y música y activista del underground, conocida tanto en Europa como en Latinoamérica en la escena de la cultura subterránea y de culto. Ha colaborado en medios como: Playboy México, Elegy Ibérica Magazine, Mondosonoro, Revista Gótica, Sonidobscuro, Al Margen, Revista Generación, Canal 22, y un largo etc. Este será su tercer libro en el mercado.

This time Manel LaVey (Leviathan) collaborates with a great illustration on the book Bauhaus: El eco de las colinas vacías by Carla Sais.

This is the first work written in Spanish about the legendary English band Bauhaus and the first containing chapters about its underlying ensembles: Love & Rockets, Tones on Tail, Sinister Ducks, Dali’s Car and the solo careers of the four members. That makes it an almanac of crossed lives, encounters, failed meetings, resurrections and surprises, based on the music and art of Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, David J and Kevin Haskins. This is a book with more than a hundred of pages, completelly in B/W, with a very special elegant format and design. It will be published soon by the independent publisher “Ediciones El Viaje” from Guadalajara, Mexico. The author is Carla Sais (Tarántula), a specialiced reporter on art and music and underground activist.

She is known in Europe and Latin America in the scene of the underground and cult culture. She’s worked with media like Playboy México, Elegy Ibérica Magazine, Mondosonoro, Revista Gótica, Sonidobscuro, Al Margen, Revista Generación, Canal 22 and a great many others. This is her third book in the market.
